vista troubles

So far my experience with vista has been a positive one.. i have had a few issues with it and most have been worked out, but my main concern is the media center. as long as i dont run media center, vista works perfectly. the moment i do run media center, system lags, sound drops out, becomes very unstable.
so for me, i think i can live with out media center
and just because i am so impressed with what they have done so far, i decided to go and order the dvd just so i can play with rc1 when it becomes available
